Create a Dog

Just thought I’d share a little something that happened on Saturday. It may be related to the last post, communicating with the team, and/or an example of creating what we want, and/or being supported by the All.

In the morning I was talking on the phone with a friend and said that I might get a dog next month. We talked about that for a few minutes. After we hung up I spent about an hour thinking about what kind of dog I’d get, what I’d have to do to dog-proof the house, imagined training it, going for walks, maybe fencing the yard … My musings were detailed and charged with some longing, anticipation and happiness, and a little bit of reservation.

Three hours later I was sitting in the living room when a dog showed up at back sliding glass door. She stood looking in at me like she belonged inside, come on, let me in!

I went outside to talk with her, and she acted so happy to see me, like we were long lost friends. And she wouldn’t leave! She followed me all afternoon, occasionally wandering off to check something out but always returning.

The name on her collar was … Angel.

Being familiar with the way my team communicates with me and the way I create what I want in my life, I have to say that this was a pretty clear message that my getting a dog would be a good idea for me.

Daydreaming is powerful. It can be a fun way to create or ask a question.

Eventually I did track down Angel’s home, returning her to her family. Maybe soon I’ll be posting a picture of my new dog!

    1. Yes, they’re spirit beings. Anyway I’ve seen them in other dimensions or focus levels. In my experience they can communicate with us telepathically – as can plants, for instance. Studies have been done showing that dogs seem to sense when their people are walking out of the office to go to their cars to drive home – they get restless and start watching the door (Windbridge Institute? can’t remember where I found that info). Animals are very sensitive to the energy of emotion too. Your dog probably is reading your mind … Maybe you can learn to read his/hers.

      1. I always hoped that they had souls too. They just seem to be so love-filled! How could God not allow them to have souls too? I think animals could almost be thought of as our “teachers”, in that they do naturally what we should all be doing like living in the moment, loving purely and unconditionally, and enjoying each day as it comes.

        You won’t regret getting a dog! 🙂

        1. They are all of those things, aren’t they, so teachers by example. I miss having animals around – am sure you’re right, Pam, I’ll never regret it if I get one!

  1. I had a small parrot once. a conure in fact. That bird was the best pet I ever had. He had more personality than most people I know. I had him for about 5 years and then I had to give him away because I was moving to a place where I couldn’t have pets. My last view of him was of him frantically pacing back and forth in his cage squawking for me as I left him with someone else. Broke my heart. That was about 15 years ago. Last year i had a very fleeting dream of him flying past me quickly and giving me a dip of his wing like a plane would do to signal. I knew, I just knew, that he had died and was saying good bye. I woke up with tears in my eyes.

    1. That’s beautiful, Dave. Something like that happened with a cat I was friends with. So sad, yet relieved and grateful in the end.
